What Happens in a Neck Lift Procedure?

We recommend that all patients stop taking any blood thinners, anti-inflammatory medications, and supplements two weeks before their procedure. Neck lift patients are also asked to fast from midnight on the day before their procedure until after their surgery.
On the day of your neck lift surgery, you’ll need a friend or family member to bring you to the surgical facility several hours before the surgery. Dr. Indeyeva review the planned procedure and answer any last-minute questions you may have. Once it’s time for surgery, appropriate anesthesia will be administered, and Dr. Indeyeva will perform the procedure.

Most patients initially experience swelling, tightness, or soreness that will subside with time. We recommend that patients sleep with their head elevated for six weeks after the procedure and avoid strenuous activity, alcohol, smoking, and excessive sun exposure for at least two weeks following surgery. During your post-op appointment, Dr. Indeyeva will evaluate your healing and provide specific instructions for resuming normal activities.
