Description

Patient in her early-60s initially presented to correct elongated, dragged down appearance of her mouth caused by a combination of natural aging and improperly placed filler for years. As the upper lip elongates with aging, the pink lip rolls in and becomes diminished. Continuing to inject filler into a reduced surface anrea only contributed to heaviness and flattening of the lip, accelerating the aging process and distorting the facial balance. She underwent a lip lift procedure that shortened the upper lip distance and uncovered the pink lip, restoring a youthful and sensual appearance.
